CBS44 WEVV “Princess Wishes Photo Contest” Official Rules
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Odds of winning the contest are dependent upon the number of entries received.
Eligibility: Entrants must reside in the Evansville DMA (as defined by Nielsen Media Research) and maintain a mailing address in Indiana, Kentucky or Illinois, and be at least 18 years of age on the day the contest begins. Employees of WEVV, Disney Princess Classics (hereafter contest sponsors); their advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members of each are not eligible to participate.
Entrants are only eligible to win one prize valued at $500 or more every six (6) months from WEVV. However this does not disqualify them from participating in the contest.
To enter: Submit a photo at www.wevv.com.
No purchase necessary to enter or to win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. By entering, each contestant agrees to be bound by these Rules and Conditions.
Contest begins February 11, 2011 and ends March 6, 2011.
Selection: Viewers will be encouraged to submit a photo of their children to www.wevv.com during a photo submission period (Feb 11 – Feb 27, 11:59pm). Photos of children must be submitted by their parent or legal guardian. The children in the photo must be 16 years or younger.
During the voting phase (Feb 28, 12:01pm – Mar 6, 11:59pm), all viewers will be encouraged to vote for their favorites. The viewer whose photo has the most votes at the end of the contest will be determined the grand prize winner. Three (3) runner-up winners will also be selected at random draw from all eligible photo submissions.
Limit of four (4) votes per day per person. Any attempt to submit more than the maximum number of entries/votes using multiple/different email addresses, identities or any other methods may void that participant's entries for the sweepstakes. Entries generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means may be disqualified. No other forms of entry are valid other than that set forth above. WEVV reserves the right to disqualify any photos deemed inappropriate. Any user thought to be violating the integrity of the game may be disqualified from the contest at the discretion of WEVV Management. All entry information becomes the property of WEVV. WEVV reserves the right to verify all entries.
Contest winners will be notified via e-mail and/or phone. Winner/winners must sign affidavits of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance and Release form(s) within seven (7) days after notification before any prize will be awarded. Photo ID and Social Security number verification may be required. All applicable taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Prizes are non-transferable.
Prizes not claimed within 14 days after being awarded shall be considered forfeited and will become property of Station. Such prizes may be re-awarded or disposed of at the discretion of Station Management.
For a list of winners, send a request and a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the
WEVV, Princess Wishes Photo Contest, 44 Main Street, Evansville, IN 47708. Request for winners list must be received within 60 days after contest close. Allow three weeks for delivery of list.
Prizes:
Grand Prize: Eight (8) VIP Tickets to the Opening night performance of Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes.
Runner Up Prize: Family Four-Pack tickets to performance of Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes (date/time TBD by WEVV/Disney Princess Wishes)
Publicity: Prize winner(s), by entering and/or accepting prize, agrees to allow contest sponsors to use Prize winner’s name, photograph, voice and/or likenesses therein in contest or contest proof-of-performance publicity.
Limitations of Liability: Neither WEVV or sponsor, its agencies, nor any contest entities are responsible for lost, illegible, late, misdirected, incomplete, mutilated, or non–delivered entries or email; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Web site, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, garbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software or telephone malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Neither WEVV, sponsor, its agencies, nor contest entities are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Web site users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest; and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the Web site. WEVV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with entry process or operation of contest or Website, to be acting in violation of the terms of the Website or to be acting in a non–sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person. WEVV, sponsor, and contest entities are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this contest or downloading or copying materials from or use of Website. If, for any reason, contest, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which, in sole opinion of the WEVV, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, WEVV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend contest, and determine winner from eligible entries received prior to action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by WEVV. In case of dispute, authorized subscriber of e–mail account used to enter at actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant, and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be natural person who is assigned an e–mail address by an Internet Access Provider, on–line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e–mail addresses.

Contest Sponsors accept no responsibility or liability in connections with any injuries, losses or damages arising from the prizes awarded.

Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any prizes of equal or greater value in the event that prize(s) are unavailable for any reason.
WEVV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend contest. All decisions by WEVV Management are final.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed.
Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
WEVV-TV reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
WEVV-TV reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.
Employees of WEVV-TV, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to WEVV-TV the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
WEVV-TV reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, Inc., and/or WEVV-TV. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM and WEVV-TV are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
WEVV-TV reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
